Role and Responsibilities:


 Coordinate, observe and assist a team of trades people responsible for delivering client service requirements, including air-conditioning, mechanical ventilation installations, service and maintenance, with effective communication and leadership.
 Build,develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

Deliver excellent customer service through managing customer relations,
effectively manage client expectations, and ensure that all works are completed to company and industry standards. Liaise with existing clients regarding their requirements to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

 Accurate and timely delivery of quotations, scope of works for the repair, replacement, maintenance and installation of air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration.

 Project management including attending site meetings, detailing variations including detailed cost breakdowns to ensure clarity.

 Estimating and design of mechanical ventilation, air conditioning projects for commercial, industrial, residential projects as they fall due.

 Interpretation and assisting with the finalization of drawings from tender, to construction to as installed stage .

 Ensure high quality workmanship while maintaining company standards, relevant quality, safety and environmental compliance documentation

 Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels

 Oversee the work of the team and work in accordance with the business systems and the Quality System (ISO9001) accredited.
Responsible for providing a high level of customer service, supervising a team of air conditioning technicians. Day to day duties will include:

 Assist the team with directions required for installation, service and maintenance of air-conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients

 Supervising a team of trades people who install, service, and maintain air
conditioning systems. Ensure high quality workmanship across the team and maintaining company standards and safety and compliance documentation.

 Provide technical expertise and advice to customers on the selection and
maintenance of their system.

 Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels

 Sourcing parts and procurement, hiring equipment, and deliveries of equipment and materials.

 Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’
requirements

 Review plans, designs and drawings and preparation of quotations for installation and repairs for commercial and domestic customers.

 Utilising a cloud-based software to schedule services, monitor job status, allocate tasks, draft quotations.

 Work closely with other Project Managers and Scheduler to ensure project/job delivery on time.

 Reviewing the performance of workers and providing technical direction and mentorship to apprentices and technicians

 Assist with ensuring that all company tools are recorded, tagged, maintained for use on projects

 Working with management to strategically align staff to ensure critical path timeframes are achieved.

 Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

 To maintain company vehicle with neat presentation

 Responsible for personally maintaining a commitment to zero harm in the workplace and promotion of safe work practices (including workplace health and safety.

Financial Delegation:


All financial expenditure must be raised and discussed with the Managing Director before purchasing.

Role KPIs:


Customer complaints as a result of poor workmanship by tradesmen > 10 per annum. Maintain existing sales of ($1M) per annum with to aim to increase by 10% per annum. Continue sales growth in sales department. Seek new customers and development of external relationships with builders, developers, commercial contract customers, domestic contracting customers and/or any other industry group, government departments, suppliers and contractors.


Provide a written report monthly on the performance of the business. Include the
following information as a minimum:
 Workers performance and any training required
 Quality of workmanship,
 Safety & Environmental compliance,
 Prospective sales
 Current work commitments, i.e pending tenders
 Opportunities for improvement.

Liaise with Manager on pricing on projects, aspects of the company associated with improvements, sales, contracts, installations and suppliers
Assist with ongoing quality assurance system
